Sistermatic Change
Diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at the age of 17, Saba experienced a 3-month hospitalisation that prompted her to ponder the shortness of life and value the time we possess. Emerging from this challenging phase, she vowed to contribute to her local community through charitable endeavors. In 2007, with the backing of fellow students at Luton Sixth Form College, her philanthropic journey commenced with fundraising for those affected by the Bangladesh cyclone. Since then, she has raised millions of pounds for diverse causes and ventures, offering aid to refugees and families across numerous countries. Her dedicated efforts landed her into the spotlight as she secured her first award at the age of 18—Young People of the Year—alongside other notable praises and awards from Princess Diana, Luton Mayor and many others. Saba persists in her mission to motivate and assist young adults in attaining their aspirations by arranging many events, campaigns and workshops through Sistermatic Change.
